Oranges and Almonds

1 ½ - 2 cups orange sections, divided
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons slivered almonds

Orange-peeling race: GO!

People from Florida should get a handicap in orange-peeling races.

Place orange sections in a small bowl or on individual dessert plates.

We just used two oranges instead of measuring out two cups of orange pieces. Sometimes you just have to try to make life easier.

Drizzle with honey and orange juice then sprinkle with slivered almonds.

Gotta love a natural sweetener.

The OJ isn't redundant, actually. It makes everything juicier and more delicious.

A little nutty flavor to counterbalance the sweetness.
Ready to be nommed.

My Rating: 4/5 "A wonderfully mellow kind of sweet in a light and tasty dish. The honey makes the oranges less tart. It was hard to get the pith off of the oranges, so that kind of got in the way. But the flavor was a great finish to our meal."
