Touch O' Honey Cookies



1 cake mix, any flavor
2 eggs
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup margarine
½ cup flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Blend half of cake mix, eggs, honey, margarine, and flour, then beat until fluffy, mixing in rest of cake mix. 

That's about half of the mix, right?

I'd actually recommend getting a plainer cake mix for this, so that the taste of the honey can really shine through.

For the record, I used a Betty Crocker mix for butter yellow cake.


Roll into small balls.

Well, the problem is that this batter is chock full o' honey, so it's REALLY sticky and hard to manipulate. "Balls" ended up being a relative term.


Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 10-12 minutes. Remove from pan and cool. 

They get much bigger as they bake.

And then! They're cookies!
