Apple Turnovers


1 can (21 oz) Apple pie filling
1 package Frozen Puff Pastry Sheets (2 sheets)
Granulated sugar

Thaw the Puff Pastry sheets and unwrap. Pre-heat oven to 400F. Cut each sheet into 4 squares.

Carefully place ¼ cup apple pie filling in the center of each square. 

Careful getting too generous with the 1/4 cup - you need to be able to close those little packages and seal 'em up tight.


Fold the square so that diagonal corners touch, forming a triangle. Crimp the edges with a fork. 

I feel so dainty!


Place on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sugar and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. 

They don't specify how much sugar. For me, that was an invitation to go hog wild. 


Serve warm.
