6 beef franks
6 hot dog buns
6 American cheese singles, cut diagonally in half
6 slices bacon, cooked
¼ cup sweet pickle relish

I recommend having everything ready to go except the relish before you start in on the hot dogs.


Heat grill to medium high heat.

Grill franks 7 to 9 min. or until heat through, turning occasionally.

Or about 5 min. on the George Foreman!



Place in buns; top with remaining ingredients.

Because, after all, hot dogs MUST be eaten off of paper plates. I'm pretty sure that's a rule.


My Rating: 4/5 "A treat with a late-summer spirit and great meaty flavor. The cheese slices are really what pulls everything all together - they get just melty enough to bond with the bun and make everything else cheesy and satisfying. Absolutely worth putting together."
