Crunchy Onion Chicken


2 cups (4 oz.) French fried onions
2 tsp. flour
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 egg, beaten

Crush French fried onions with flour in plastic bag.

Catharsis.


Dip chicken in egg. 

When you stop and think about it, this is REALLY disturbing. I'd suggest that you don't think about it. 


Coat in onion crumbs. Press firmly to adhere.

The package I got ended up only having three breasts inside. But they used up all the onions by themselves, so that was ok. 



Bake at 400F for 20 min. or until no longer pink in center. 

Unfortunately, we must sacrifice the good looks of one of our chickens to make sure they are all cooked thoroughly. But we will gobble him up soon so that he'll never know he's ugly.

Served with bao. Because by the way, Trader Joe's has frozen bao that you can make in the microwave!!!



My Rating: 4/5 "I don't know if it was the recipe or just the cut of meat I had, but this chicken was extremely juicy and flavorful. The onion is there and it's nice, but it doesn't overwhelm the flavor of the meat - which is also nice. A win for baked chicken."
