Yoghurt Energy Booster

Female Cookbook Volume 22, p. 51

250ml [8oz] plain yoghurt
2 eggs
30ml [1oz] honey
125ml [4oz] pureed strawberries
2 bananas
20ml [1oz] apple cider
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp cinnamon

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend for about 1 minute or until the drink is thick and frothy.

Oh what up, eggs?

And then other stuff to help you get over the idea of the eggs.

It's pretty pink, not Pepto-pink.

Chill before serving. If you like it especially thirst-quenching, put it over ice.

Served with a salad from the Calandro's deli - an affirming little lunch!

My Rating: 3/5 "This is... this is unusual. It tastes good - I mean, it's not too sweet like a lot of smoothies and it fills you up well. It's also nicely full of protein with the egg and everything. (You just have to wrap your mind around the fact that you're drinking raw eggs.) It is very, very thick, so don't expect to be able to chug it."
