Coconut Cookies


½ cup margarine
2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
1 cup chocolate pieces
½ cup chopped nuts
1 cup fancy flake coconut
1 can sweetened condensed milk


(Vanilla wafer crumbs are made, not born.)


Melt margarine in 13-inch baking dish. Layer vanilla wafer crumbs, chocolate pieces, chopped nuts, and coconut over melted margarine. 

Cookie base.

Plus flavors! I used chopped peanuts.



Pour sweetened condensed milk over all ingredients. 

YES.


Preheat oven to 350F and bake for 30 minutes. Cut into squares when completely cooled. 

All done!


My Rating: 4/5 "Gooey goodness. All the flavors compliment each other well and the sweetened condensed milk draws everything together. (Naturally. It is, of course, the nectar of the gods.) A little buttery when it's done - keep napkins at the ready!"
