Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream Sauce


One 11 ½-oz. pkg. (2 cups) milk chocolate morsels
¼ cup peanut butter
1/3 cup milk


In small heavy-gauge saucepan, combine milk chocolate morsels, peanut butter and milk. 

Very gourmet, as you can tell.

Cook over very low heat, stirring, until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. 

Be patient. It takes a while to turn into something identifiably liquid. 

Serve warm over ice cream. Refrigerate leftover sauce. Reheat sauce over low heat, stirring until smooth. 

My Rating: 3/5 "I expected to swoon over this, but was underwhelmed. I think the consistency wasn't what I envisioned - it was more solid than syrupy, especially once it touched the frozen ice cream. Nice flavor though!"
