Reduced Sodium Rockin' Guacamole Recipe



3 ripe avocados, pitted, peeled, mashed
1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes and green chilies – no salt added, drained
½ cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon lime juice
½ teaspoon salt
Ground black pepper
Tortilla chips, optional

Make sure you do the squeezy-squeezy thing when you're choosing the avocados at the store. If they feel a little smooshy then they're riper and easier to mash.


Mix avocados, drained tomatoes, onion, lime juice and salt in medium bowl until blended. Season with pepper to taste.

So many tasty things!


Serve with tortilla chips, if desired.
