Belgian Waffles

2 eggs
1 cup half and half cream
¼ cup margarine or butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ¼ cups all purpose flour
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt

Combine eggs and cream in mixing bowl. Beat with whisk or rotary beater until smooth. Blend in melted margarine and vanilla. Add flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; beat until smooth.

"Whisk" will always and forever be one of my favorite words.

Preheat waffle baker. Add batter to baker, using quantity directed by manufacturer. Cook until golden brown. Keep warm until served.

Golden brown and delicious!

My Rating: 3/5 "They're good waffles. They're not outstanding waffles, but they're good waffles. The batter was a little lumpy, and unfortunately some of the lumps came through in the cooked version. So whisk it well! Whisk with all your might! And then you can have the breakfast-for-dinner of champions."
