Spinach with Olive Oil, Garlic, and Lemon Juice, Greek Style

Spinach
Olive oil
Garlic
Lemon juice

There's nothing in the world like this smell.

Saute fresh spinach with olive oil and garlic and add fresh lemon juice just before serving.

One regular salad-sized bag of baby spinach makes about enough of this recipe for two people.

It is that simple and it is that delicious.

...as long as it's paired with something more substantial. Like mac 'n' cheese!

My Rating: 3/5 "The spinach and garlic are good, but they do just taste like spinach and garlic. You have two options with the lemon juice: You can either add too little and maintain the bitterness of the spinach, or you can add more and make the entire dish taste like nothing but lemon juice. (Given the choice I prefer the latter, but neither are optimal.) That said, as long as you have something toothsome to pair this with it's quite refreshing and you feel like a million bucks after you eat it."
