Double-Chocolate Bread Pudding

2-1/2 cups milk

1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) chocolate cook & serve pudding

2-1/2 cups French bread cubes

½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks

My "French bread."

HEAT oven to 350F. Beat milk and pudding mix in large bowl with whisk 2 min. ADD bread; toss to coat. Pour into 8-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray. Top with chocolate chunks. 

The chunks add an interesting variation in design as well as in flavor.

Bake 35 min. or until pudding just comes to boil in center. Cool 10 min. before serving.

Surprisingly attractive for something that's mostly pudding.

My Rating: 3/5 "It's, um, it's pudding with bread in it. It doesn't have the cohesive structure of a more sophisticated bread pudding, and the chocolate chunks don't do a lot of make the pudding flavor more complicated. That said: Do you like bread? Do you like chocolate pudding? Because if both of those things are true, this is up your alley."
