Italian Meatballs

Johnsonville

1 egg, lightly beaten

1/3 cup dry breadcrumbs

¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

¼ cup milk

¼ cup finely chopped onion

1 pkg. (19.76 oz.) mild Italian sausage links

[Spaghetti]

[Pasta sauce]

Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl, combine the egg, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, milk and onion.

Remove sausage from casings.

Add sausage to the breadcrumb mixture and mix well. Shape into 20 meatballs.

Not gonna lie - I just bought 20 oz. of bulk sausage and balled it up. Who needs a middleman?

Arrange meatballs on a shallow baking pan.

Bake for 20 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through (160F).

Cook your pasta and sauce in the meantime.

Serve with your favorite sauce and spaghetti.

I used a nice rice spaghetti and some tomato alfredo sauce. On point.

My Rating: 4/5 "Savory, bulky, delicious meatballs. I liked the cheese in them, but it made the texture a little less firm than I might have preferred. As far as taste goes, though, these meatballs are exactly what you want it to be."
