Peanut Butter Cheesecake Brownies

Baker’s

1 pkg. (4 oz.) unsweetened chocolate, broken into small pieces

¾ cup butter

2-1/2 cups sugar, divided

5 eggs, divided

1 cup flour

1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened

½ cup creamy peanut butter

HEAT oven to 350F. LINE 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides. Spray with cooking spray.

MICROWAVE chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Add 2 cups sugar; mix well. Stir in 4 eggs. Add flour; mix well. Pour into prepared pan. 

So much chocolately goodness!


MIX cream cheese, peanut butter, remaining ½ cup sugar and egg until blended; drop in spoonfuls over brownie batter. Swirl gently with knife.

Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs. (Do not overbake.) Cool completely. Use foil handles to lift brownies from pan before cutting to serve.

My Rating: 4/5 "Loved the mixture of peanut butter and cream cheese - I used a no-sugar-added peanut butter to keep it from getting too rich and was very pleased with the results. The brownies come out nice and moist and flavorful! I could have handled a titch more chocolate, but that may just be a sign that I'm a chocolate junkie."
