Classic Potato Salad

McCormick

1/3 cup mayonnaise

1/3 cup sour cream

¼ cup celery, chopped

¼ cup green onions, chopped

1 ½ tsp. seasoned salt

1 ½ tsp. mustard seed

5 cups cooked cubed potatoes

Chop-a-chop!

Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, celery, green onions, seasoned salt and mustard seed.

Interesting sauce.

Add potatoes; toss to coat well. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

I made this and then realized that I didn't have anything in the house entree-wise. So here it is with some slices of cheese and a plum.

My Rating: 3/5 "I like potato salad a lot, but I wasn't a huge fan of this particular recipe for it. The sauce has a weird texture (too much sour cream, not enough mayo) and that's made even weirder by the addition of the mustard seeds, which make it seem gritty. Now, the flavor is still nice. I particularly enjoyed the green onions. I'm just saying the overall effect could use some tweaking."
