Banana Chocolate Milk Shake

Holiday Punches, p. 47

1 ripe banana

1 cup cold milk

1 tablespoon chocolate sirup

Slice banana into a bowl and beat with an egg beater or electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add milk and chocolate sirup and mix thoroughly.

This cookbook was published in the 1950s before blenders were a common household appliance, but I decided that if the authors COULD have used a blender, they WOULD have.

Serve cold.

Khaki-colored food?

My Rating: 4/5 "There's not a lot to these, but it's really quite tasty. It's like drinking a subtle chocolate-covered banana. It's not too thick, either, so it's actually refreshing!"
