Seven Layer Bars

Market Pantry

½ cup butter, melted

1-1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1 cup (6-oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup (6-oz. pkg.) butterscotch chips

1 cup chopped nuts such as walnuts, pecans or almonds

1-1/2 cups sweetened coconut flakes

1 (14-oz.) can sweetened condensed milk

Heat oven to 350F. Combine melted butter and graham cracker crumbs in medium bowl. Press into bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch pan. Layer the remaining ingredients on top of crust in order listed.

These are, of course, the most important ingredients.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until edges are golden brown and surface is light golden brown. Cool 15 minutes; run knife around edges of pan. Cool completely; cut into bars.

That sweeteened condensed milk, tho.

It's fun to have friends who serve guests on the fancy china.

My Rating: 5/5 "Butterscotch junkie here dropping by to say that seven-layer bars are easily one of the best kinds of cookie. This recipe is the pretty standard take on the dessert and it doesn't disappoint; it's also super-easy. The bar is really rich, of course, but so worth the indulgence!"
