Cheddar Biscuits with Old Bay Seasoning

Bisquick

Topping

1/3 cup butter, melted

¼ tsp salt

¼ tsp Old Bay seasoning (from 6-oz container)

¼ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp parsley flakes

Biscuits

2 cups biscuit and baking mix

¾ cup milk

¼ cup butter, melted

½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese (2 oz)

Hooray for gluten-free Bisquick!


HEAT oven to 425F. In small bowl, stir together Topping ingredients; set aside. In medium bowl, stir Biscuit ingredients until soft dough forms. Drop dough by 8 spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

So much delightful cheese.


BAKE 16 to 18 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown. Immediately brush hot biscuits with Topping. Serve warm.

A nice little accent to a nice little dinner.


My Rating: 4/5 "The topping on these is absolutely A+. Get as much of it onto the biscuits as you can when you're brushing. They have a nice crunch to them as well that makes them fun to eat. It's still Bisquick, but what a neat thing to do with Bisquick!"
