Fettuccine Alfredo Copy Cat Recipe

Cooking with Susan, p. 32

1 pt. heavy cream

2 Tbsp. cream cheese

1 tsp. garlic powder

Pepper to taste

8 oz. fettuccine noodles

½ c. butter

¾ c. Parmesan

Salt to taste

Cook and drain fettuccine noodles according to package. In a saucepan, combine cream, butter, and cream cheese. Cook over low heat until all is melted and well combined.

Add the Parmesan and garlic powder. Simmer mixture for 15 to 20 minutes over low heat. Toss pasta lightly with the sauce, coating pasta well. Note: Leftovers freeze well.

There was no GF or WW fettuccine at Walmart so I used WW spaghetti.

My Rating: 4/5 "So much dairy goodness! The sauce is creamy and pleasant. I might have liked a little more garlic-ness to it, but I'm also a garlic fiend. It's still quite tasty as-is."
