Craig Mack’s Mack-A-Licious Phat French Toast

 A Musical Feast, p. 51

2 eggs

2 tablespoons of half-and-half

1 teaspoon flour

½ teaspoon nutmeg

½ cup (1 stick) butter

4 slices bread

Cinnamon, to taste

Beat together eggs and half and half. Beat in flour and nutmeg, continue mixing until batter is light and fluffy.

Melt butter in large skillet on low heat. 

So. Much. Delicious. Butter.


Dip each slice of bread in butter, coat completely. Increase skillet heat to medium and place coated bread in skillet; cook until golden brown. 

What a combination!

Sprinkle each side with cinnamon.

 

I think maple syrup might also be implied.

My Rating: 4/5 "You can taste all of the wonderful ingredients in here quite nicely, including the butter. The recipe didn't make quite enough egg dip for me to cover all the bread slices, but the half-naked one was still pretty good. Rip Craig Mack."
