Cajun Dip

The Gator Queen Liz Cookbook, p. 147

1 cup real mayonnaise

4 tablespoons ketchup

½ teaspoon hot sauce

1 ½ teaspoons Cajun seasoning

½ teaspoon prepared mustard

¼ teaspoon lemon juice

½ teaspoon garlic powder

In a small or medium bowl, mix all of the ingredients until well combined. 

Unmixed.

Gloriously mixed!


Serve with fried or boiled foods, or as a spread in sandwiches.

Served with baked crinkle fries and gluten-free chicken nuggets. I tried to approximate an authentic Cajun Dip experience.


My Rating: 5/5 "This is copycat Raising Cane's sauce but even nicer because it's a little spicier than what you get from the restaurant. If you're like me and you love Cane's but there isn't one nearby, this will really take you back. Do what you can with what you have where you are, eh?"
