1 cup
sugar
1 cup
light Karo syrup
1 cup
peanut butter
1 tsp.
vanilla
1 cup
roasted peanuts
6 cups
rice or corn Chex
Bring sugar and light Karo syrup to a boil.
Careful with this stuff. It's like tar once it stiffens. |
Because somebody looked at sugar and thought "Gosh, this just isn't sweet enough." |
Add peanut
butter and vanilla. Stir. Add peanuts. Stir.
STIR, damnit! |
Remove from heat and add Chex.
It's a bit bulky, but you gotta make sure it all gets mixed in well. |
Put
immediately on buttered pan.
Transitioning from gooey and delicious to chewy and delicious! |
We cut it into pieces to eat it. If you'd rather just have at the entire pan, be my guest. |
