8.5-ounce box cornbread mix

[ingredients for the mix]

3 tablespoons pesto

Prepare the cornbread mix as the label directs, adding the pesto to the batter. 

So it's like you're makin' cornbread like usual

But then there's pesto!

So everything's a little greener than it would normally be for a while. 

But it doesn't look awful when it's baked.

And it tastes nice! Which is good.

My Rating: 3/5 "Mine came out a little over-crumbly, but the taste is pleasant. A good accent to an Italian dish, or fun as a snack with a hint of savory flavor."
