Taste of Home Dinner on a Dime, p. 190
2 cups
uncooked bow tie pasta
¼ cup
zesty Italian salad dressing
¼ cup
shredded Parmesan cheese
1
tablespoon minced fresh parsley
Cook pasta according to package directions.
Usually that involves boiling it in water. And sometimes (just sometimes) stirring. |
Drain pasta and
rinse in cold water. Transfer to a serving bowl. Add the remaining ingredients;
toss to coat.
Incognito dried parsley. |
BAM. Pasta. |
My Rating: 3/5 "It's cheap, it's quick, and it's easy. I expected more "zest" from the salad dressing, but it's just kind of a quirky accent. Anyway, maybe it's not the most flavor-y flavor in the world, but you know? For all those other qualities I'll eat it anyway. The cookbook billed it as a side dish, so it might be a nice accent to something more ostentatious."
