4 pork
chops
1
teaspoon oil
½ cup
sliced onion
1 can
(10.75 ounces) cream of celery soup, condensed
½ cup
water
2
packages pork ramen noodles, with seasoning packets
Measuring sliced onions? I'll do my best.
In a frying pan over medium heat, brown pork chops in oil 5
minutes per side, or until done, and drain.
Pork. Delicious.
Add onion, soup, and water. Simmer
over low heat 10 minutes.
Shopping for this recipe at Trader Joe's was a bad idea. They don't carry Cream of Celery, so I had to make do with Cream of Mushroom.
Cook noodles in water according to package directions and
drain. Add seasoning packets.
...and they only had one flavor of ramen and it was spicy. (Although the noodles were pretty darn nice.) So I left the flavor packets out and just flavored the noodles with the soup/onion sauce.
Serve pork chops and sauce over warm noodles.
Makes 4 servings.
My Rating: 3/5 "The sauce kind of drowns the flavor of the chops, so it's not as meaty and satisfying as it could be. But it's a filling meal, and if you get the pork chops on sale it's a cheapish one."
