ounce) package pre-sliced fresh mozzarella

fresh basil leaves

vinaigrette

Slice each tomato into 4 slices.
Tomatoes, of course, do not come pre-sliced. |
On a serving platter, cascade layers of tomatoes, cheese
slices and basil leaves.
"Cascade?" I hope that means "stack." |
Top salad with desired amount of vinaigrette. Salt and
pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
I served mine up with some couscous that had gotten the same seasoning treatment as the tomatoes. A slim, fresh little dinner! |
My Rating: 4/5 "Great flavors that leave your tummy happy in a lot of ways. A treat if you're leading a veggie lifestyle but looking for something substantial. Simple to prepare and elegant on the plate. (And "elegant" is not a word I use lightly.)"
