2 ½
cups all-purpose flour
1 cup
light brown sugar, packed
1 cup
butter, softened
½ cup
granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp.
Vanilla extract
1 tsp.
baking soda
1 tsp.
salt
1 12
oz. package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup
chopped walnuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 375F. Into large bowl, measure all
ingredients except chocolate chips and chopped walnuts. Mix ingredients on low
speed. Beat on medium speed until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips and
nuts.
I didn't have as many walnuts to work with as I thought I did, so I threw in a little cranberry/nut trail mix to fill out the cup. It turned out to be a pretty yummy addition! |
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10-12
minutes or until lightly browned.
BOOM |
Cool slightly before removing from pan onto
wire racks.

My Rating: 3/5 "They were good chocolate chip cookies, but they weren't great ones. I'd actually recommend cutting down on the amount of salt, and I'm someone who really enjoys sweet/salty combos. They're tasty and all, just a little dry."
