1
pound hot dogs
1
tablespoon butter, melted
1
tablespoon soy sauce
¼ cup
maple syrup
Combine butter, soy sauce and maple syrup in fry pan. Score
hot dogs or cut into pieces and add to simmering sauce.
Stir it up, little darlin. |
Stir until meat is
coated and then simmer until sauce is dark and slightly thick. Good as a main
dish and as an appetizer; try the sauce with your favorite crockpot appetizer
meatballs.
Served up with a Caesar salad and a nice pretzel roll from Trader Joe's. |
My Rating: 4/5 "Loved this. You wouldn't think that soy sauce and maple syrup would work well together, but they're surprisingly magnificent when they're both combined with meat. I used chicken hot dogs to make this, which my partner was not a fan of, but I thought they were delicious!"
