4
boneless skinless chicken breast halves (4 ounces each)
2
tablespoons honey
2
tablespoons orange or lemon juice
1
tablespoon vegetable oil
½
teaspoon salt
Dash pepper
1 to 2
garlic cloves, minced
Preheat oven to 400F.
Place chicken in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan.
In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; pour over chicken.
Mixed up and ready to go! |
Bake, uncovered, at 400F for 15 minutes. Broil 4-6 in. from
the heat for 5-7 minutes or until juices run clear, brushing occasionally with
sauce.
Served with some nice red beans and rice that Matt made! |
My Rating: 3/5 "This recipe had a lot of hiccups: The cooking time for the chicken was not nearly enough to get it done. There's not enough sauce and because of that its flavor gets overwhelmed by the chicken. On the other hand, the sauce by itself is really good and if you could find something else to put it on - something smaller, maybe - it might be a winner."
