roasted almonds

tablespoon instant coffee granules

teaspoon hot water
½ cup
butter
2 cups
semi-sweet chocolate chips

teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 cups
powdered sugar
½ cup
cocoa powder
Place cereal and almonds into a large 2-gallon recloseable
food storage bag; set aside.

In a small microwave-safe bowl, stir coffee granules and
water until coffee is dissolved. Stir in chocolate chips, butter, and cinnamon.

Microwave (HIGH) for 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute, until mixture is
melted and smooth. Pour over cereal; seal bag. Shake until all cereal is
coated.

Add powdered sugar and cocoa powder; reseal bag. Shake gently
until cereal is well coated. Spread in a single layer on waxed paper to cool.
Store in an airtight container.

My Rating: 4/5 "I don't even really like coffee and I was addicted to this. It's sweet but not too sweet, crunchy but solid, and the almonds add good variety. A great twist on a perennial crowd-pleaser."
