oz.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 cup
chopped nuts

unbaked 9-inch (4-cup volume) deep-dish pie shell
Sweetened
whipped cream or ice cream (optional)
Preheat oven to 325F.
Beat eggs in large mixer bowl on high speed until foamy. Beat
in flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Beat in butter.
This gets so fluffy and creamy! |
Stir in morsels and
nuts. Spoon into pie shell.
I had some chopped pecans laying around so that's what I used in this. |
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway
between edge and center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Serve warm with
whipped cream or ice cream.

My Rating: 4/5 "This is very reminiscent of the Chocolate Nut Pie I made a few years ago, and I still feel similarly that this is a hard combination of things to go wrong with. The difference is that now I'm more concerned about calories, and this packs a whallop of 'em. So it's a delicious sometimes-food,"
