ripe bananas
1 cup
semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
In large mixing bowl, combine butter, sugars, eggs and
vanilla. Using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat until creamed, scraping
bowl often.
Reduce mixer to slow; slowly add flour, baking soda and salt
until well combined, scraping bowl often. Add bananas and chocolate chips,
continue mixing until well combined.

Transfer to a greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake in a
preheated 350F oven 30-35 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes
out clean.

Cool and cut into bars.
I don't know what it is about bars. There's something about them that's just more fun to eat than round cookies. |
My Rating: 4/5 "These combine the things you like about chocolate chip cookies with the things you like about banana bread. If you like both of those treats, you'll like these bars. My only suggestion is that they could handle a little more banana bread-style seasoning; a little cinnamon or nutmeg or something would go a long way toward making these even more delicious."
