1 small
onion, cut into thin wedges
2 tsp.
olive oil
1 can
(14-1/2 oz.) no salt added cut green beans, drained
1 small
tomato, cut into thin wedges
2 tsp.
chopped fresh oregano or ¼ tsp. dried oregano, crushed
Cook and stir onion in hot oil in medium saucepan over
medium-high heat for 4 minutes or until tender.
Add beans, tomato and oregano. Heat through.

Transfer to a
serving dish.
Served up with some Down-Home Macaroni & Cheese! |
My Rating: 3/5 "This is pretty bland. You could amp up the flavor by using fresh green beans instead of canned ones. That said, it's healthy and it's a nice light side dish."
