Roasting the pepper makes the house smell wonderful. |
Spread pesto sauce equally over both naan (bubbly side
up). Sprinkle each naan with the Asiago cheese, roasted red pepper and the
diced grilled chicken breast.

Note: Walmart was out of naan so I just used a pita. It would have tasted much better with naan. |
Top with the crumbled goat cheese, sliced black
olives, chopped basil and salt and pepper. Place naan on middle rack of
preheated 400F oven and heat 10 to 15 minutes, or until cheese melts and crust
is golden brown. Slice and serve immediately.

What a pretty bunch of toppings! |
My Rating: 3/5 "The overwhelming flavor in this is salt. All the toppings just come together and taste like salt. (Now, my husband, who loves salt, thought that was a point in the pizza's favor.) It's also very cumbersome to eat with all of the toppings, and it calls for way too much pesto for good taste. Good thoughts here, and of course I adore goat cheese, but this isn't quite the awesomeness I hoped it would be. But never give up on naan pizza!"
