1 pound box of macaroni
4 cups cheddar shredded cheese
2 cups part-skim mozzarella shredded cheese
2 cups Parmesan shredded cheese
1 pound processed cheese, melted
1 stick butter, melted
2 cups crackers, crumbled
2 cups milk
1 ½ teaspoons pepper
Boil macaroni until tender; drain. Place in greased
casserole dish.
Add milk until completely covered. Mix in 2 cups of
cheddar shredded cheese, mozzarella shredded cheese, Parmesan shredded cheese,
processed cheese and butter. Season with pepper.
I had to call in reinforcements for the stirring because this gets really cumbersome to mix up. |
Top macaroni with 2 cups of cheddar shredded cheese and cracker crumbs.
I, uh, didn't use quite all of the cheese on top I was supposed to. I couldn't believe how much was in the thing already! |
Bake uncovered at 350F for 30 minutes.
So. Much. Macs. And so many cheeses! |
Man. Look at all that! |
My Rating: 4/5 "We were unprepared for cheese of this magnitude. It's... there's so much cheese. And it's GREAT. Like, the cheese does the stringy thing that I thought cheese only did in 90s Pizza Hut commercials. But it really did it! There's also good hustle toward flavor here with the pepper, although I might have preferred more depth of spice. But overall, if you eat this in moderation, you won't regret it!"
