1 cup light brown sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1/3 tsp. salt
1 egg white, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups pecans
Mix sugar, flour, and salt. Put through colander. Add beaten egg white, vanilla and pecans.

Drop by teaspoons on cookie sheet heavily greased with shortening.

Bake at 275F for 35 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet
before cookies are cold.

My Rating: 4/5 "Of course these are going to be tasty - they're pretty much nothing but sugar! I wish they kept their shape a little better. I think more flour/eggs might help with that, but then I suppose they wouldn't be as sweet. If you're coming into this expecting actual pralines you'll probably be disappointed, but if you want a nice crunchy cookie they really hit the spot!"
