Cooking in the Nude for Wine Lovers, p. 83
½ head cauliflower, broken into florets
1 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. whipping cream
1/8 tsp. cayenne
1 Tbsp. freshly minced basil
Dainty florets! |
Steam cauliflower until tender.
Melt butter in frying pan over medium heat. Whisk in cream; add cayenne and basil.
Attractive, eh? |
Pour over cauliflower and serve immediately.
A good accompaniment for some rosemary lamb chops. |
My Rating: 4/5 "So few ingredients, but such a robust impression! Definitely a great way to make your cauliflower more interesting. And don't be scared of the cayenne; it's peppy but the dish isn't hot overall."
