2 eggs
2 tablespoons of half-and-half
1 teaspoon flour
½ teaspoon nutmeg
½ cup (1 stick) butter
4 slices bread
Cinnamon, to taste
Beat together eggs and half and half. Beat in flour and
nutmeg, continue mixing until batter is light and fluffy.
Melt butter in large skillet on low heat.
So. Much. Delicious. Butter. |
Dip each slice of bread in butter, coat completely. Increase skillet heat to medium and place coated bread in skillet; cook until golden brown.
What a combination! |
Sprinkle each side with
cinnamon.
I think maple syrup might also be implied.
