Movie Dinners, p. 42
150g (6 oz) blueberries
500g (1 lb 2 oz) blueberry or natural
yogurt
Honey, to taste
2 tbsp porridge oats
1 tsp ginger, grated
A splash of milk
I highly recommend using vanilla yogurt as the base for this.
Rinse the blueberries, taste one and pop the rest into
a blender.
Add the yogurt. If the blueberries were a little tart,
now is the time to add honey to taste.
Add the oats and stir well. Put the grated ginger into
the milkshake.
Blend until smooth, then thin the smoothie with milk
until it reaches the desired consistency. (I have no idea of the consistency of
Bantha milk, so let’s guess at double cream.)
Pour into a plastic tumbler (or half-pint glass) and
add a couple of thick straws.
Resist the temptation to discuss light sabres or the
legacy left to you by your father while drinking – it may cause a variance in
the force.
And we wouldn't want that, now would we? |
My Rating: 5/5 "It's magical how well this blends together. I didn't even mind the oats because there weren't enough of them to make the texture weird - they just added good, oaty flavor. And of course since it's a smoothie it's as easy as blasting womp rats in a T-16 skyhopper."
