Canton Noodle Stir-Fry

Wel-Pac

1 pkg. (6 oz.) chow mein stir-fry noodles

¾ pound lean, ground pork

3 green onions & tops, halved lengthwise and cut crosswise into 1-inch lengths

1 onion, cut into thin wedges

1 carrot, coarsely shredded

¼ cup stir-fry sauce

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Such onion variety!

Cook and drain noodles as directed. Heat wok or large frying pan over high heat. Add pork; stir-fry 3 to 4 minutes, or until browned. Add onion; stir-fry 1 minute.

If I were you, or if I made this again, I'd put in a whole pound of pork. Go nuts. Make it meaty.

Mix in cabbage, carrot, noodles, stir-fry sauce and pepper. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes, or until all is combined and heated through.

There weren't any chow mein noodles at Walmart, but ramen worked ok.

My Rating: 3/5 "I was underwhelmed with this. It wasn't savory enough to write home about, but it also didn't have a fresh clean yay-veggies vibe to it either. If you like noodles, then this is your thing, but don't expect much beyond the noodly goodness."
