Roasted Green Beans with Almonds

Good & Gather

Green beans

2 Tbsp. olive oil

Salt

Pepper

Garlic powder

Slivered almonds

Heat oven to 400F.

Toss vegetables in olive oil. Arrange on a rimmed baking pan (line with foil for easy cleanup). Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder and slivered almonds. 

Or sliced almonds, if that's what you have laying around.

Bake about 15 minutes or until bottoms are browned. Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon, if desired.

Served with southwest rice and a nice bourbon pepper chicken from Kessler's. 

My Rating: 4/5 "Nice variety here for all it's just a simple side dish. Neat textures, fun flavors. Honestly the almonds make the green beans more appealing to eat!"
