Tex-Mex Style Pizza

Great Value

1 lb. ground beef

1 (1.25 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix

1 (13.8 oz.) tube pizza crust dough

1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded taco blend cheese

1 bag shredded lettuce

1 tomato, small dice

Sour cream

Picante sauce

Preheat oven to 375F.

Brown beef in a skillet on medium heat; drain off fat.

Add seasoning mix according to directions.

Unroll dough on a greased baking sheet and top the dough with the meat mixture and cheese.

Hooray for fistfuls of cheese!

Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Finish pizza with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes.

Garnish with sour cream and serve with picante sauce.

I accidentally made it look like a giant Toaster Strudel.

So many happy ingredients!

My Rating: 4/5 "I feel like I need different ratings for the corner pieces and the inside ones. I loved the corner pieces because they had more crust-handles to grab onto and they were a nice vehicle for the toppings. The inside pieces were a little too toppings-heavy and you had to eat them with a knife and fork if you didn't want chaos. But the flavors are spectacular, and I love that it's a Mexican-inspired pizza that isn't covered in refried beans!"
