ounce) package scalloped potatoes
2 cups
boiling water
¾ cup
half & half

tablespoons butter
2 cups
diced ham
2 cups
frozen broccoli cuts
1 cup
shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (6
ounce) can French fried onions
In large mixing bowl, combine potatoes and
seasoning mix, boiling water, half & half, butter, ham, broccoli, cheese
and ½ the fried onions.

Being classy, we diced up slices of honey ham. But we got fresh broccoli, so surely that evens things out... |
Transfer to a 13x9-inch baking dish that has
been sprayed with no-stick cooking spray.
Satisfying arrangement, until I realized that I had forgotten to put the cheese in and had to wrench it out of the oven. |
Bake in a preheated 400F oven 30 minutes. Top
with remaining fried onions and continue baking 5 minutes.
The onions on top get crunchy and delicious. :) |

My Rating: 4/5 "There were lots of nice flavors going on. If you're not used to a lot of starch in your diet it kind of curls up in a ball in your stomach and sits there for a while. But it's good-tasting, even if it's not good for you."
