I kind of enjoy cutting up meat. I'm not sure if that makes me a healthy omnivore, or a latent serial killer. |
In a frying pan, brown chicken until done.
Not done. |
Done! |
In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Mix in flour,
stirring until smooth and bubbly.
There's not a lot to stir. Don't panic. |
Remove from heat. Stir in water mixture and
nutmeg. Heat to boiling, stirring 1 minute.
See? It gets bigger. |
Add chicken and simmer over low
heat.
Simmer down simmer down simmer down now. |
Cook noodles in warm water according to package directions
and drain. Top warm noodles with chicken and sauce.
I won't insult you by illustrating the process of cooking the ramen noodles. |
Makes 2 servings.
And those servings go a lot farther if you have a side, like Fresh Green Beans! |
My Rating: ** "Filling and homey - especially the sauce."
