Cheesy Garlic Bread


½ cup butter, softened
2 tsp garlic powder
1 ½ tsp oregano
1 loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
1 package (8 oz) shredded Mozzarella
Paprika

My bread didn't turn out as even as the picture on the recipe card, but I'm not self-conscious about it.


Blend butter, garlic, and oregano.

This is just a delicious idea by itself.

And it smells amazing!


Spread evenly on cut surfaces of bread.

Top with Mozzarella and sprinkle with paprika.

Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeese!


Broil until the cheese is golden (about 3-4 minutes).

Ready to be sliced and enjoyed!



(For those that prefer more garlic flavor and aroma, increase the garlic powder to 1 tbsp.)



My Rating: 4/5 "Great flavor! I dunno about that suggestion to add more garlic, because it's already highly garlicky as it is. But the bread has a great crunch, the cheese is nice and melty, and the spices? Mmmm. Great for your next spaghetti dinner."
