Peach Cobbler

Essential Everyday

2 (16 ounce) packages frozen peach slices, thawed and drained

1 cup granulated sugar

¼ cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 ½ cups all-purpose biscuit & baking mix

6 tablespoons milk

1 ½ tablespoons butter, softened

So I thought I had biscuit/baking mix, but when I pulled out the box to make the cobbler it turned out I actually had confetti cake mix. So that was an adventure.

In large bowl, combine peaches, sugar, flour and cinnamon. Transfer to a greased 8x8-inch baking dish.

In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto peach mixture.

Bake in a preheated 400F oven 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

A little more colorful than it was supposed to be, but otherwise visually right on the money.

My Rating: 3/5 "Unfortunately my mistake of using cake mix instead of biscuit mix was the most interesting thing about the final dish. As it was supposed to be I'd imagine the result would have been bland and unremarkable. It's hard to mess up cobbler, and this one was fine, it just wasn't something to whip out if you want to impress people."
