Cinnamon Mix

1/3 cup sugar

1 1/3 teaspoons ground cinnamon

3 tablespoons margarine or butter

4 cups crispy corn & rice cereal

½ cup peanuts

½ cup raisins

Combine sugar and cinnamon; set aside.

Melt margarine in large microwave-safe bowl on HIGH 40 seconds.

Gradually add cereal and peanuts, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Microwave on HIGH 2 minutes, stirring every minute.



Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over cereal mixture; add raisins and mix well.

Microwave on HIGH 1 minute.

Spread on absorbent paper to cool. Store in airtight container.


My Rating: 4/5 "The Crispix got a little burned, but that didn't affect the overall flavor too much. Very cinnamony and sugary! And the raisins and peanuts are just enough to convince yourself that it's not totally devoid of nutrition."
