Mixed Fruit Parfait


Albertsons It’s a Spring Thing, p. 17

1 pkg. (3.5 oz.) instant vanilla pudding & pie filling
1 cup whipped dessert topping
2 cans (15.25 oz. each) fruit cocktail, drained
4 oz. granola
½ cup raspberry or strawberry jam (optional)

Prepare pudding according to package directions. 

Puddin'. 


Fold dessert topping into pudding.

Layer fruit, pudding mixture, granola and jam in tall glass. 

It had never occurred to me to put jam in parfait.


Repeat layers.

Now how exactly am I supposed to fit another series of layers into this tall glass, when all of this is only 1/4 of the ingredients? Are we positive we thought this through?



My Rating: 3/5 "Ingenious idea to mix the whipped topping into the pudding, and it tasted great when it got all up ins the fruit cocktail. But yeah... why canned fruit? Anyway, don't be afraid to take some liberties with this recipe, because I'm not sure they planned it out very well."
