Lemon Herb Green Beans



1 ½ lbs. cooked green beans
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. basil leaves
½ tsp. oregano leaves
½ tsp. finely shredded lemon peel


I used frozen green beans so they'd cook fast.


Toss cooked green beans with butter, basil, oregano, and lemon peel.

Looks like significant flavoring, right?

Served with some store-bought (and delicious!) samosas and mint chutney.



My Rating: 3/5 "For all of the spices and whatnot you're putting on these, they really just taste like plain ol' green beans. You don't even really get much butter flavor. Now don't get me wrong - green beans tasting like themselves isn't a bad thing. I just didn't understand the need for all the prep work to have things be so bland."
