Double Chocolate Cookies

1 ¼ cups granulated sugar

1 cup butter, softened

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 (12-ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips

Cream sugar and butter; beat in eggs and vanilla. Beat in flour, cocoa and baking soda on low speed. Stir in chocolate chips.

This is the only shot I managed to take of these becuase I was half-asleep by the time I got them done. But it's the makings of deliciousness!


Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake at 375F for 8 to 11 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets.
